One to one WordPress training and support

This is how it works….

1. We have a pre-training session for about an hour, around what you want to achieve –  what content (copy and images) you want on the site, and what kind of flavour and design you want to go for.

2. You round up some text and imagery you want to use, and send that over beforehand for us to take a look at. (We can give you advice on where to get images from.)

3. In the meantime, we will set up a development site, either using a temporary url, or we can use your own domain url (web address) if it’s not being used elsewhere.

4. We will also set up WordPress on a development site … but nothing else. Because that’s where the fun begins!!

5. We will then spend a day together online, via Zoom, building your site out. There will be five hours of learning, split into 4 parts with mini breaks in between – so we’re looking at about 6 hours total. You’ll be doing the doing, and we’ll be guiding you. You will also get handy ‘how to’ resources to take away with you.

6. There will probably be more pages and sections that you will want to add at the end of the day, so you then go away for a few days, get those done, and we meet back for a further session (up to 2 hours) to go over what you’ve done/ add anything else/ go over stuff again if required.

7. At the end, you can either keep the site with us on our server and become one of our hosting customers with continued support. Or you can move your site over to another host.

If you want to migrate to another host, we will keep hosting your site for up to 60 days while you sort where you want to take it. Please note though that there will be a transfer fee of £150 to cover our time liaising with your new host and facilitating the migration.

For just £595 you get a website in less than 2 weeks – something that you built, and now know how to keep working on moving forward.

Just to say, we won’t be able to cover Woocommerce or anything more complicated than a standard company ‘brochure website’ in this offer. It’s too much for one day. But we can build the core of your site during this course, and then add specialist Woocommerce set up and training in addition.
